Rehearsals for the Glees are held in the hall at Les Ozouets Campus, St Peter Port every Monday during term time from 7.30 pm to 9.20 pm running from September until May/June each year unless notified at choir or through the choir communications.
New members are invited to join preferably at the beginning of the Autumn and Spring terms – mid September and mid January. The first rehearsal of the new academic year in September is a taster session for you to try us out for which there is no charge.
As an adult evening course there is a subscription charged for attending the choir thereon.
Please email us should you be interested in attending and indicating whether you are soprano, alto, tenor, or bass voice or don’t know.
There are no voice tests and an ability to read music, although preferable, is not required.
The Choir is run by Committee formally appointed at an AGM each October and in accordance with its constitution (click here).
The Committee is also responsible for appointing and paying the Conductor and Accompanist, the former being a member of the said Committee.
The Guernsey Glee Singers has been an adult education evening class since 1968.
